POKHARA TO NAUDANDA
Easy walk for abour 6 hours.Good views of Annapurna Range
from Naudanda.
NAUDANDA TO BIRETHANTI
From Naudanda a gentle climb for 3 hours to Khara.From Khara
walk gently down to Lumlai passing villages inhabited by
Chhetris,Gurungs,Bhramins and Mangers.From Lumlai a walk
straight to chandrakot with good views of Annapurna and from
Chandrakot a walk down hill to the stream coming from
Annapurna Sanctuary and passing a hanging bridge,then come
to Birethanti
BIRETHANTI TO ULLERI
From Birethanti you have to walk on the bank of a river to
Hilla.From Hilla a gentle walk up and down to Thika Dhunga
seeing waterfalls.Then from Thika Dhunga cross two bridges
and start walking up on a hill which has steps and come to
Ulleri.Ulleri is a big village inhabited by different kind
of people like Gurungs,Mangers,Kami and Damai..
ULLERI TO SIKHA
From Ullari a clamb up for about 20 minutes, then a gentle
walk up and down till Bunthanti. From Bunthanti walking
through forest sometimes down and sometimes up,then crossig
two bridges you come to Gorapani. From Gorapani one gets
good views of Annapurna south,Nilgiri,Daulagir one and
Tuckche peak. From Gorapani a walk down through forest for
about one and a half hours passing through villages and
seeing landslides on the way till Sikha.From Sikha also one
gets good views of Annapurna two,Annapurna south Nilgiri and
Daulagiri one.
SHIKHA TO TATOPANI
From Shikha you have to walk for about 3 hours sometimes
straight and sometimes down. Then you have to climb a hill
which has a bhati on top of it.From this bhati you have to
go down till you come to a river and cross this river by a
bridge,Then you have to walk on the bank of the river,Then
cross Kali Gandaki by another bridge.Then walk up for
sometimes and go straight till you come to Tatopani.Tatopani
has hot springs.This village is inhabited by Thakali,Kami
and Damai people. It also has a police checkpost and a
school.
TATOPANI TO BANDUK
From Tatopani one has to return back the same way till you
cross the two bridges. Then you have to walk through
cultivated field and forest,and then on rocky area.Again
walking on cultivated field and crossing a bridge you reach
Banduk.Banduk is a small village inhabited by Chhetris and
Newars.
BANDUK TO BENI
From Banduk a walk straight to the stream coming from
Daulagiri.Cross this stream by a bridge. Then again walk
straight on the banks of a river sometimes passing through
forests, small villages and come to Bani.Bani is a village
inhabited by Thakalis,Chhetris,Bhramins,Magar andGurung.
From Bani one can get good views of Daulagiri.
BANI TO BAGLUNG
From Bani cross a bridge of Magdi Khola. Then walk on the
side of a hill for about 3 hours passing through
villages.Then again cross a bridge of Kali Gandaki River and
com to Baglung. From Baglung one can get good view of
Daulagiri one.
BAGLUNG TO KUSMA
From Baglung walk on the banks of a river for about 4 hours
till you come to Kathe khola. From here a climb up for about
one hour passing few types of bait. Walk straight for about
one hour to Kusma. Annapurna Range can be seeing from Kusma
KUSMA TO JAMINGHAT
From Kusma walk down for on hour till you reach Modi khola.
Then cross the Modi khola by a bridge and climb up about
half hour. Than you have to walk on cultivated fields for
about 3 hours passing Chhetri and Bharmins villages till you
reach Jaminghat. Jaminghat is a village inhabited by
Thakalis and Magers.
JAMINGHAT TO SATIDOBAN
From Jaminghat you have to climb up about 3 hours on
cultivated field passing Chhetri villages to Karkanata
Danda.From Karkanta Danda you have to walk down for about
one hour till you come to a river.Then you have to walk on
the banks of a river and sometimes crossing it for 3 hours
till you reach Satidoban.Satidoban is a big village
inhabited by Magers,Gurungs and Thakalis .It also has a big
market place.
SATIDOBAN TO POKHARA
From Satidoban you have to climb up for about two hours
walking on the site of cultivated fields and passing through
villages, and you come to Naudanda Bus Stop. From Naudanda
one can get good views of Annapurna Rangs and Mount
Machhapuchhare (Fish Tail Mountain) From Naudanda the bus
travels straight on a hill for about half hour and then zig
zags it way to Pokhara for about one and half hours.
